- New Evidence Act in Germany since August 1, 2022: In the case of new employment relationships, employers should hand over the essential terms and conditions of employment in writing on the first day of employment. For employment relationships that already existed before August 1, 2022, employers must hand over the essential terms and conditions of employment specified in the German Evidence Act within 7 days of the employee's request, unless a written employment contract contains the required information.
